Khadchheri

Story & Details

Product Description

Khadchheri is a four-armed form of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion in Tibetan and Vajrayana Buddhism. The figure is depicted with the central hands joined at the heart, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel (ratna), while the upper hands hold a prayer rosary and a lotus flower. This statue stands out for its richly patterned robes, featuring intricate floral and scrollwork designs across the lower garment. The detailed crown and decorative ornaments complement the carefully carved lotus pedestal, whose patterned borders add further detail to the design. The gold finish brings out the depth of the carved patterns and the fine details across the statue.
